ANY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT INTERESTED IN SHARPENING THEIR MATH SKILLS OVER THE SUMMER MAY ATTEND. THIS PROGRAM IS OPEN TO ALL.
About The Program
At The Well, we understand that living out our profession of faith is important. We aim to express this LOVE to our neighbors by meeting their needs.
One of the ways we do this, is through the Free ACT/SAT Prep program.
This program prepares high school students during the summer months, to take the ACT / SAT exams in the fall, September through December. Each summer, we focus on key areas. In summer 2018, we focused on Math, English and Science. In summer 2019, we will focus only on Math.
At the beginning of the program, each student takes a math test, to determine what they know.
The Well provides an instructor to review Math concepts already learned during the school year, and/or introduce new ones. Each student receives a workbook and online access to practice what they have been taught.
At the end of the summer program, each student takes another math test, to determine what they have learned.
This program is free to all who choose to attend; however, registration is required. Students who would like to have a workbook must cover the cost of their book. Workbook is optional.
Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00m - 7:30pm at the Cockeysville Community Center, starting July 9th through August 15th.
